PAVED GRADE CROSSING

Our # 4 Straw Grass is evident on the dirt edge of the sidewalks. The material is cut with scissors from the long strands and planted in drops of glue. This straight cut when viewed at low camera angle would make the grass look at if it had an unnatural flat top hair cut as I've seen lately in the model press. To avoid this, tease the fibers around slightly and then add a few wispy strands in the center of the clump while the glue is still wet. This extra effort only takes a few seconds and improves the effect.
The Crossing at grade uses our #1030 Asphalt paving material for the road and #1290 Concrete Paving material for the sidewalks.
